The NAFCU says that the growing debit fraud incidents, such as those linked to the Michaels POS breach and the Sony hack, prove that Sen. Jon Tester's proposal to delay debit interchange fee reductions is needed. Needless to say this new proposal tied to a small business bill [S. 493] has retailers furious and bankers thrilled, not to mention it is raising quite the disturbance in Washington.
